fresh ideas for my birthday week

This is my birthday week and I'm going to keep myself feeling great.

Positivity.

I wrote a different blog post this morning and then deleted it.

If you read it, I'm sorry for that.

I will be grateful, loving, and joyful.

And nothing else.

Grateful, loving, joyful.

Maybe there's nothing to write about here any more.

If I can't vent about my fears and beat myself up about my failures and pander to people's affections to take pity on me, what will I write about?

I have everything I need to move forward this week.

That's what matters.

I hope you have everything you need to move forward this week too.

Please let me know how I can be of help to you.

Love.

Love will see us through.

Happy birthday week! And I, for one, would be okay for you to write whatever is in your heart, downer or not. Let your people comfort you and, maybe, offer some help. Sending hugs.

Courtney, I appreciate all of your blog writings. You’re a great writer! I actually look forward to reading them! I was able to read the earlier one and could relate to all you are feeling/putting down on your page. I liked it with a ❤️. I get you. I feel ya! Sending love and big hugs! xo

Thank you for the support, friends. Next time I'll just leave up the ugly posts. I think this blog was founded on the good the bad and the ugly and just because I'm learning a lot doesn't mean I never get discouraged. Love.

Why don’t you write about music? The music you listen to. The stories behind the songs you write. Stuff like that?

Courtney, you are human, and I think something people appreciate on your blog is your very real, daily struggles. Because we all have them. Up and down, things going good, then going bad, family dynamics that aren't always simple, loving people anyway. Looking at both the bad and the good in ourselves. And continuing to go on! The daily battle. Money issues. Setbacks. Victories. We all have them. You are not perfect and neither are we. I was sad recently when you wrote that when you are famous, people will finally be able to be proud if you. Sad that you think that that is what it takes, and that you don't know that people are probably proud of you right now.
